The course booking system offers you the opportunity to create different course times for special course days. This feature is great for when your regular class schedule interferes with your regular class times on a holiday or other special day Deviation has. In the following we will explain how this works and how the system behaves.
Create different course days
You already know how to create and manage columns. Similar to the regular weekdays, you can also create the deviating course days here. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Log in to the WordPress backend
- Navigate to
Timetable > Add Column
A page will open where you can enter the title (required) and a description (optional). Then scroll to the bottom of the page and select your desired (different) date for this column.
As soon as a specific date is created, the courses on this day will be blocked, i.e. not released for booking, since a different course schedule applies on this day.
Now you can under Timetable > Events create the courses as a timeslot that are to take place on this day.
A little hint at the end: Don’t forget to add the new special course day (or days) to the timetable page. Otherwise, your customers won’t be able to get to those special days.
