Can I test the API before purchasing?
Yes, of course. The basic version of the booking system is available free of charge in the WordPress plugin library. If you already use WordPress on your website, you can simply install it for free.
If you don’t have WordPress (yet), you can also try out a demo online as a trial version of our booking system.
Do I need a mobile.de dealer account?
Yes. The plugin only works with valid access data for the mobile.de Ad Integration API.
Can I customize the vehicle pages?
Yes. Vehicles are created as a custom post type and can be freely designed using your theme or page builder.
How does the automatic synchronization with mobile.de work, and at what intervals?
Synchronisation happens automatically via a built-in WordPress cron job that connects to the mobile.de Search API on an hourly basis and updates your vehicles (price, availability, equipment, images, descriptions, etc.). A sync can also be triggered manually at any time from the WordPress backend, e.g. if an immediate update is needed.
How much freedom is there in customizing the vehicle overview and detail pages?
Vehicles are stored as their own Custom Post Type in WordPress. This means the archive page (overview) and single pages (details) can generally be designed freely with your theme or page builder — just like regular WordPress posts. The plugin also provides shortcodes, a Gutenberg block (“Vehicle Archive”), and widgets for Elementor, so vehicle listings can be flexibly embedded on any page.
The plugin works well with most well-known page builders such as DIVI, WP Bakery, Elementor and Gutenberg.

What options are available for the search and filter functions?
The plugin includes a filter function for the vehicle overview (including filtering by category/vehicle type such as SUV, sedan, convertible, etc.).
Are the vehicles saved directly in WordPress or loaded externally at runtime?
Vehicles and all associated data are stored directly in the WordPress database as a Custom Post Type at import time — the data is not loaded live on every page request. This has benefits for page load speed, SEO (vehicles are indexable as regular WordPress content), and resilience.
